Arvon at the IOU Hebden Bridge Hostel

This summer IOU and Arvon North will partner to deliver Arvon’s residential writing courses.

The creative writing organisation needed a temporary home for their residential courses while their Lumb Bank, their Yorkshire writing house is being redeveloped and we’re delighted that we will be working with them to host their 2024 programme.

Courses on offer include Starting to Write, Poetry, Playwriting and Fiction.  Each 5-day residential and fully catered  course is led by expert tutors to help participants explore and develop their writing.

We are delighted that Arvon chose to work with us to provide an exclusive retreat for their guests. The Hostel and grounds provide all the spaces needed for both group workshops and activities as well as offering the chance to step away from normal routines and immerse in the creative process without distractions.
