Our Dining and Event Space can be hired on a daily basis

Recently the Hostel hosted a Creative Arts Producer training course on behalf of Calderdale Council and Creative Calderdale and led by LVL/Up

20 delegates attended the one day session held in our Dining and Event Space.  This space is fully flexible and can be set up as a formal meeting with room for projection screens and whiteboards.  Alternatively it can be used in a more relaxed layout with sofas and small tables for group working.

A relaxed and safe space for events and away-days

In July-August  2022 IOU produced and ran two 2-day activity programmes for local school children under the Healthy Holidays scheme. 27 children attended the retreat with an overnight stay and spent time on a range of indoor and outdoor activities.

The Hostel was closed for their exclusive use and the Dining Room and Snug used for yoga and storytelling and the kitchen for making healthy meals.
